Doctor/patients relationship is a complex issue in China. News of unsatisfied patients/family members using violence against doctors and health care workers occur very frequently. Patients and family members demand the best treatments and guaranteed results, but a doctor in China is responsible for taking care of 15,000 patients on average, it's physically impossible to meet the demands of every patients and satisfy everyone's needs. Patients threaten to report doctors to the hospital whenever they think doctors are not "doing their jobs".
Today I got a taste of how difficult it is to deal with agitated patients; especially when there's one of you and 3 of them.
